Qur’an · an excerpt from 2:144
فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۚ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُۥ ۗ
So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer].
